New information for the TTR - Image 1Over on the World of Warcraft Tournament Test Realm forums, Eyonix recently had an important announcement for all the arena fans in the area. In it, he announced a couple of big things happening for the TTR: new spawn locations upon character creation after the next push of data for the TTR, and a new build which will wipe existing characters from the server.

First off, the new spawn locations. Eyonix mentioned that "Sometime today we'll be pushing new data" to the TTR, and that new data includes new spawn areas for the new characters who'll be signing up for the realm.

Players will thus spawn at one of the following locations at character creation:

  • Northshire
  • Stormwind
  • Coldridge Valley
  • Ironforge
  • Shadowglen
  • Crash Site
  • Valley of Trials
  • Razor Hill
  • Sen'jin Village
  • Orgrimmar
  • Camp Narache
  • Deathknell
  • Sunstrider Isle
Eyonix adds that he hopes there will be more spawn locations in the future, with three of each vendor (save for the armor vendor) at the different locations. "For today's push," Eyonix notes, "this will only be true for the racial starting zones and the vendors outside of capital cities."

Eyonix also announced that capital cities would only have vendors outside the city limits, with battlemasters residing inside the city walls for this push of the TTR, with the exception of the Exodar. There will also be fight promoters at each of the spawn locations, allowing people to bind to their location and teleport to a capital city.

In addition to this bit of news, the next build of the TTR will involve the wiping of all existing characters. According to Eyonix, this is being done to to test the new character template and to further test the random spawning and the requisite locations of the random spawns.
