World of Warcraft: Tauren stampede to Stormwind

In World of Warcraft there are moments that will forever be immortalized, this is one of them. WoW Insider sponsored an event that had 500 Tauren on blue shirts rushing from Camp Narshe all the way to the Alliance capital city of Stormwind. It was a bovine marathon the likes gamers have never seen before.

while watching the video, I was amused to see that many characters running about with a single purpose. The carnage that ensued was simply amazing. Taurens were dying left and right, and the streets of Stormwind were littered with the corpses of the fallen.

It would have been cool to take part in this event, just to see first hand how far my Tauren could run before it bit the dust. Enough talk, watch the video and be amazed...or amused. Enjoy!

that would have been a nice vid except that the dude opened his map every two seconds and you couldn't see the action. man i got a map too, i know what the world looks like, it looks the same on mine as it does yours, we don't want to see a video of the map of the world. also don't try to make a video and share it with people if your computer cant even handle the game, Can ya say LAG, lord if i had to play like that I would throw my cpu out and quit playing all together, not even worth signing on if your gonna lag that bad. I don't care if your were around a lot of people, nobody should lag that bad.

I love the beginning of this video (and I think the music used in opening is fine) Totally conveys the fun of playing warcraft. Yeah, could've done with some editing and the map popping was annoying. But as someone who has fooled around with recording in game .... you can go for awesome footage or you can play the game. Sometimes the two come together but not often. Thanks for capturing this!
