World of Wacraft: gaining reputation - Image 1

Gaining reputation in World of Warcraft can be time consuming at times, especially for some of the more discriminating factions like the Darkspear trolls where you can only gain reputation from non-repeatable quests and donations.

However, there is a way around this, as some of you may already know. Gamer Zantoku asked how to gain more rep with the Darkspear Trolls after having already done numerous quests and not wanting to gather the equivalent donations to get the rest of the required rep.

Gamer Testarossa later replied that any quest that gives city reputation will also increase reputation for the Darkspear Trolls and suggests on "continuing to do old quest, this includes old instances, grey quest etc. even if they don't have any trolls related to it."

Blizzard Poster Drysc later added to this, confirming that quests that give city rep do indeed give reputation to the Darkspear Trolls. In fact, it gives reputation to every other major faction:

I believe the bleed over is about 25% into every other major faction reputation when completing a quest for one. So, for instance, you could get 100 rep for a quest rewarding Orgrimmar reputation and you would receive 25 rep for Darkspear Trolls. (This bleed over isn't noted in the log)
