World of Warcraft bug: Combat log not recording player death - Image 1According to Harum's report over at the World of Warcraft official forums, there's an issue with the game log that's preventing it from properly recording certain actions.

As Harum further specified, the  /combatlog in particular is unable to record a line when a player dies. The bug report was picked up  by community moderator Hortus.

According to the Blizzard official, the issue was already known and that the company's developers are readying a fix by the next game patch. Here's to hoping the issue gets remedied asap - not being able to see when you die in the combat log makes it very difficult to analyze party wipes.

An especially important detail to keep note of if you're planning strategies for WoW's tougher raids. Drop by again in case any related updates are announced.
