World of Warcraft - Image 1There has always been concern about the viability of certain specs in Blizzard's World of Warcraft, particularly in the competitive PvP arenas. Some players have brought up this topic on the official forums where Community Manager Vaneras addressed their concerns.

According to Vaneras, there's more to the issue than just making each spec viable. The developers have to consider game balance and make sure that each class is properly and equally represented. A move, he added, which has lead to some specs being better suited to PvP while other to PvE.

He pointed out that getting all the classes balanced out is still a work in progress and that the developers are continually working on both balance and viability for different classes and specs. Perhaps we'll be seeing an improvement when Wrath of the Lich King comes out, then again, the developers will probably be busy getting the latest expansion patched up to focus on this issue.
