World of Warcraft forum: Elemental Shaman's critical nerfed - Image 1 The 2.4 patch notes have been recently released for Blizzard's World of Warcraft. Changes will be taking place here and there. Apparently, there's one concerned player who doesn't like a specific change for the Elemental Shaman.

Chfsitingbul from the Draenor realm posted his thoughts regarding the change that happened to the Elemental Shaman's critical, from 6% to 5%.

He mentioned that the Call of Thunder Rank 5 was originally designed to give six percent crit. He also mentioned that Blizzard considered this to be a bug and then decided to nerf it.

Other classes that have special abilities like the rogue's stealth, the mage's sheep, the warlock's fear, or the druid's shapeshift ability. The only thing worthy of note for Elemental Shamans is their high crit rate. Chfsitingbu mentioned that his character is based on the critical. It bothered him that Blizzard will be lowering the crit rate.

Blue poster Nethaera posted her reply by saying:

It is a slight nerf, but it was done based on a need for consistency of values. The developers felt that it was a bit strange to have the progression jump from 4 to 6 rather than a 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%.

Hopefully, Nethaera's response was able to provide more information regarding this certain change. Better keep your eyes glued on to our site for more information regarding the 2.4 patch.
