World of Warcraft forum: Season 4 equipment sets are big, bulky and ugly. - Image 1For today's update on World of Warcraft, we give you an interesting discussion that happened over at the game's official forum. Lokithegrey reposted something that concerned Season 4 equipment sets.

Apparently a certain gnome mage originally posted links to all of the equipment sets for all the job classes in the game. What's peculiar about the post was the fact that he commented that the items were not appealing to the eye. Simply put, they were ugly.

Of course, this didn't go unnoticed. In fact, Blizzard QA Drysc took time and explained why this was the case of the equipment sets. He posted:

If you remember Ahn'Qiraj you'll remember the sets there shared the same art style for each armor type, with color shifts for each class, which is the same as it is for these items.

Like the Sunwell items the Ahn'Qiraj items weren't a proper "tier" upgrade, then called 2.5, the Sunwell items could probably be called 6.5 if you want.

They might not be pleasing to the eye, but surely, these things might prove useful in the MMO. Perhaps Blizzard might refine the aesthetics of these armors in the future. Until then, keep checking up on this space for more news and updates on the game.
