WoW forum: clarification on expertise rating - Image 1Sometimes all the nitty-gritty details on the gameplay of Blizzard's World of Warcraft could leave players bewildered and in the dark. As for player Shadowess, she wanted help in understanding the whole concept of expertise rating.

Shadowess asked what exactly does it do and what it affects. Some of the players addressed her concern by saying it reduces that chances of a player's attack to be dodged and/or parried by 0.25%.

Even with this kind of response, players were still unsure as to what exactly the expertise rating does. Thankfully, Community Manager Bornakk clarified this issues by saying, "
It reduces the chance for a players' melee attacks to be dodged or parried."

Well, this is certainly a crumb of information that could help those who are still unsure about the expertise rating. For us, we'll be doing our part in helping you guys out in the game by providing you with the latest updates and information.
