World of Warcraft - Image 1Old school World of Warcraft players have been asking more diverse instances when Blizzard's Wrath of the Lich King comes out.

While they enjoy the more linear dungeons that came in-vogue when The Burning Crusade came out, they also long for dungeons with multiple paths of progression to get to the main boss.

Community Manager Bornakk commented on the requests of the players saying that while he doesn't have any new information about the instances, the developers will do their best to satisfy the yearnings of the gamers:

I don't have any new details to share regarding new dungeons in Wrath of the Lich King, but keep in mind that before The Burning Crusade there was a HUGE demand for more dungeons like Scarlet Monastery and we developed many areas based on this feedback.

While this shouldn't be taken as any confirmation as to what kinds of instances will be in Wrath of the Lich King, it's always nice to see that the people at Blizzard are listening to the World of Warcraft players.
