Children's Week being celebrated on Blizzard's World of Warcraft - Image 1

Humanitarians (or "insert appropriate race here"-itarians) all across Azeroth and Outland will be giving back some much needed love to the innocents of war: namely, the orphans. A special in-game event will be celebrated this week from May 1 to May 7 in Blizzard's World of Warcraft to commemorate Children's Week for both the Horde and the Alliance factions.

Brave heroes can visit orphanages in either Stormwind or Orgrimmar and help show kids what it's like being a tried and tested adventurer. After that, you and your young friend can then visit several places around Azeroth before receiving a special gift from your ward for showing them a valuable lesson in being a hero.

Depending on your starting location (Azeroth or Outland), you must visit several areas with your orphan friend while answering several tricky questions typical of any plucky young child. Here are the list of appropriate waypoints for you to visit while staying in Azeroth:
  • The bank in Darnassus (Alliance)
  • The lighthouse in Westfall (Alliance)
  • Jaina Proudmoore in Theramore (Alliance)
  • Mor'shan Rampart (Horde)
  • Lordaeron Throne Room (Horde)
  • Cairne Bloodhoof in Thunder Bluff (Horde)
For those of you doing charitable works in Outland, here are the list of areas to visit:
  • The Dark Portal
  • The Exodar (Alliance)
  • Silvermoon City (Horde)
  • Caverns of Time
Those who complete this quest can receive up to two different set of pets to remember your young companion by. While you're at it, why not light a candle and celebrate the lost spirits wandering around this Spring.
