Good news, denizens of Azeroth and Outland. Blizzard poster Drysc went on the WoW Forums and announced that free character transfers will be made available for a week starting December 6 to December 13, 2007 (12:01 PM PDT). The said free character moves were opened once again to help alleviate the population dispersal problem in the World of Warcraft.
The free character transfers will include a number of high population realms and three low population realms. Here's the list of the destination and source realms:
- Source Group A
- Destination Realm A
- Source Group B
- Destination Realm B
- Source Group C
- Destination Realm C
**An error was made in the original posting, Kel'Thuzad will not be available for transfers. Warsong was the intended realm for that group. If you're planning to transfer, it would be best to pack your bags now as once a realm reaches ideal numbers, transfers to it will be disabled. As Drysc reiterated, "We highly recommend that if you are planning to transfer that you do so at your earliest convenience." Keep checking back for more World of Warcraft news and info.
