Blizzard's World of Warcarft MMORPG - Image 1 Where are the World Events in World of Warcraft? We're pretty sure that we're not the only ones who want to see these back in the game.

Various events such as
the opening of Ahn'Qiraj and even the attack of the Scourge were fun diversions from questing. However, it doesn't seem that Blizzard plans on implementing them anytime soon.

Community Manager Bornakk pointed out that World Events are a double edged sword. While he admitted that events are indeed fun for the players, it takes a lot of planning. In addition to that, there is also the problem of forcing every member in the community to hang out in one location.

Thankfully, Bornakk didn't completely shoot down the idea of World Events. He said that Blizzard might actually host some of these in the future. However, they still have to consider the implications of introducing these carefully before implementation
