World of Warcraft Forums - covering what's hot in the WoW community - Image 1Because of the new keylogging scams and the persistent ones still lurking around phishing websites, your precious account is heavily in danger of getting jacked. If you're not careful, you could be looking up the end of a scammer's shotgun barrel. Giving up the account isn't easy, but getting it back should be a cinch.

Provided that you do remember all of your account information (except the password of course), you can drop a line at Blizzard's Billing and Account Services for a quick retrieval of the account ownership. However, do not underestimate the power of the Account Management tool that can be accessed by answering the Security Question.

As flapping serpent Eyonix announced, you can circumvent account jacking by entering through the Account Management secret question gateway, and alter most account information from there.

By setting the e-mail account back to yours, you can retrieve the current lost password and jack back the stolen account. What? You stole it back fair and square, right? You can head on over to the World of Warcraft Forums via the "Read" link below.
