Ó

Did you keep the goody bag you got from Blizzard's recent conventions? Let's hope you did, because one of its contents just might be your ticket to entering World of Warcraft's Wrath of the Lich King beta phase. Wryxian confirmed this over at the WoW Europe forums, further noting that the invite was passed along to all the visitors of the 2008 Worldwide Invitational and 2007 BlizzCon events.

Both WoW Insider and MMO Champion further confirmed this news, who reported that entering the codes prompted users to receive an email instructing them to follow the sign-up details on Blizzard's WotLK beta page. Here are some sample screenshots of a successful beta code entry, and the email that follows (both via MMO Champion):

Once again, the players who want in on WotLK beta will want to sign up for Blizzard's opt-in program. From there, it's a matter of how luck. Drop by again in case we receive any more updates regarding this matter.
