It's an understatement to say that most players are excited about the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion, Wrath of the Lich King. Judging by the number of forum threads we see everyday, players are probably most interested in the hero class Death Knight. We've got another query from the WoW Forums about the said hero class being added to the tank classes.

The players reasoned that lore-wise, the Death Knights aren't much into the protecting type as they are all for destruction, death, and chaos. They indicated that tanks are supposed to be protectors since they shield the rest of the party from harm by taking all the damage. Well, Blizzard poster Bornakk dropped by the said thread and this is what he had to say:

Tanking is not the only thing that the Death Knights will be doing as we plan to have them fill DPS rolls as well. They are able to tank as they are very strong beings who can take the hits and keep on going.
