Reports are coming in regarding several recently spotted changes for World of Warcraft's Wrath of the Lich King beta. At the top of the list are changes to the Death Knight's frost talents, initially reported by Cesar to Stratics. Here are the changes that were found, as compared to their previous effects:

• [Improved Icy Touch]
• Old: -5 sec on cooldown, +25% critical damage
• New: +50% damage, +100% vs frozen targets
• [Nerves of Cold Steel]
• Old: Tier 3
• New: Tier 2
• [Annihilation]
• Old: Tier 6
• New: Tier 3
• [Merciless Combat]
• Old: Tier 8
• New: Tier 6
• [Blood of the North] (new)
• Whenever you use a Blood Strike, there is a 20/40/60/80/100% chance your next blood rune will be a death rune.
• [Vendetta]
• Old: 3% per point (max 2)
• New: 2% per point (max 2)
  

New models for monsters, weapons, siege vehicles, and mounts were also spotted for the WotLK beta's latest build. Among these are images of Northrend's bear mounts, which includes one that looks like it's being prepped as a BlizzCon reward. Here are some extra details on the mounts:

• Summon Polar Bear - Summons and dismisses a rideable Polar Bear.  This is a very fast mount.
• Winged Steed of the Ebon Blade - Summons and dismisses a rideable skeletal gryphon mount.  This mount can only be summoned in Outland and by those that have learned Cold-Weather Flying in Northrend.
• Skeletal Gryphon - Summons and dismisses a rideable skeletal gryphon mount.  This mount can only be summoned in Outland and by those that have learned Cold-Weather Flying in Northrend.
• Swift Skeletal Gryphon - Summons and dismisses a rideable swift skeletal gryphon mount.  This mount can only be summoned in Outland and by those that have learned Cold-Weather Flying in Northrend.
