If you've been keeping tabs on the new features that's going to be put in the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion Wrath of the Lich King, you'll know that one of the biggest things people are looking out for are the grand scale siege battles that will take place.

However, a lot of people are still pretty much in the dark about the mechanics of the siege battles that will happen especially in Lake Wintergrasp. Geadum, a member of the WoW forums, posted the question on how buildings respawn upon wiping them out from the battlefield.

Several speculations were thrown around, such as the possibility of creating a timing aspect similar to the Bone Wastes PvP event to help isolate the respawn rate of buildings and avoid the "ghost town" effect that people were anticipating from this feature.

Blizzard Poster Bornakk, fortunately, was patrolling the forums and was quick to answer this question by saying:

A lot of the details like this regarding Lake Wintergrasp still need to be fleshed out and tested before we want to say they are finalized. We are focusing on making it as fun as possible for everybody who wants to participate while also delivering a sense of accomplishment for those who "win".
