Blizzard is still looking for more good people to fill the company's ranks: a recent post on the official Blizzard site featured three new job vacancies for prospective applicants. Incidentally, two of the positions involve work with Blizzard's mobile team, which could possibly fuel more speculation regarding a possible mobile version of World of Warcraft.
In any case, Blizzard's three new job vacancies are as follows:
- Shader/Look Development Supervisor
- must have a technical/coding background and an artistic eye
- will oversee a team consisting of artists and engineers
- Mobile Software Engineer
- must have strong programming skills and some experience developing or porting mobile applications
- novel problem-solving ability a knack for learning new technologies are both advantages
- Mobile User Interface Artist
- must possess experience in UI design and "pixel art."
- should have a deep appreciation of design of limited devices
- must be able to create clean, high-quality graphic designs that balance the Blizzard art style with the needs of the mobile audience.
