Ever wonder what the
World of Warcraft characters do in them taverns? While it really doesn't take much out of the imagination, the Death Knights and Night
Elves love to knock back a few after a hard day of
raiding and farming. Now you can go and share the toast with them with these limited edition Rise of the Lich King Steins.

This is the gold mine right here. Literally. The WoW Gold Pig blog is running a
contest for 500,000 WoW Gold. We’ve gotten wind of it, thanks to
tips (and tweets) from the community, and so went further to fish out more info about it through their representative, Nick Gardner. Click on full article for the complete dibs.

Anyone who's ever spent countless hours playing
World of Warcraft may have noted, at some point, that the druids weren't scoring pretty well in the look-o-meter. For that, the devs behind the MMO have decided to give the nasty buggers fresh new textures for two major forms - the cat and bear. There's gonna be five different designs for each of these forms for the Horde and the Alliance, so they really went mad with the druid updating. More after the jump.

When it comes to iPhones and
World of Warcraft, this won't be the first video showing how the latter could run on the former, with most of them being empty claims and mere mock-ups. This time, however, things may be a little different. Thanks to
Vollee and the VolleeX engine, a video demonstration was put up on
YouTube with the massively popular MMORPG running on an
iPhone. See for yourself.

The reason why you're not having fantastical dogfights in
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King right now lies in the physics. As in, it wasn't polished enough. That's what
WoW's
Tom Chilton revealed in the latest
Blizzard podcast. The same podcast also featured senior
Diablo III artist Mike Nicholson, who admitted that the new UI for
Diablo 3 drew a lot of inspiration from
WoW's UI.

With the
World of Warcraft subscriber base climbing to an impressive 11.5 million just last December, it seems there's no stopping
Wrath of the Lich King from conquering everything he sets his eyes on. That is, until the almighty warlord ran into a force much greater than him - the Chinese government. To this day, the extremely popular MMO has yet to receive a license from the Chinese government to operate in mainland
China.

A conservative Christian Investment firm, The Timothy Plan, puts out a warning for parents on getting some games for their kids for the holidays. For that, they put out a list of the 30 "most offensive" video games out there today. The list includes your usual suspects, but The Timothy Plan flags games that ring the gay-dar, even those little negligible things like
Niko Bellic turning down gay ads in online dating.

ESA seems to be doing for next year's E3. Talks of them "going public" are circulating the Internet's grapevines. But how probable is this move?

Blizzard has totally ignored the test server altogether. The European servers have recently been wiped to make room for the new 3.0 build of the PTR, according to Blizzard poster

Blizzard's
J. Allen Brack and
Tom Chilton are reiterating that
World of Warcraft will not be heading for consoles. As if echoing
Hideo Kojima's words yesterday
about a 360 port of MGS4 being impossible, Brack and Chilton say that
WoW was just basically not intended for the PS3 nor 360 to begin with. In Chilton's words, "it's a square peg round hole thing."
