Toy collectors, your attention please. DC Unlimited now announces the coming of the third series of World of Warcraft action figures! This time around, we're going to have a Blood Elf Paladin, a Dranei Mage, and others. Check out more info in the full article.

Details have finally emerged about the new World of Warcraft comic book from the San Diego Comic-Con.

The story will be focused on a human character who can't remember his past who finds out a lot of info on the Horde, making him a threat. A new character named Valeera Sanguinar will play a kind of black horse in the story. She is a blood elf rogue, a night elf druid gladiator who has to come to terms with the world after the destruction of Quel'Thalas.

You may be familiar with Valeera Sanguinar if you bought her action figure: it turns out that the action figures from DC Direct are the cast of the comic book.

The events of the comic books will affect events that will happen in the game and will probably be introduced through expansion packs. There will be 12 issues to the comic books. There was also a bit of a slip about details concerning the WoW movie that will be coming out soon. We'll just have to wait and see about that.

The comic book will be out this November 14 and can be pre-ordered for US$ 23.99. Take a look here to see some concept art while you wait.

Now this is definitely a sweet piece of news that makes us all go, "YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!" Bowzerblack from the Livejournal World of Warcraft community linked to this sweet piece of action figure awesomeness: an Illidan Stormrage figurine, complete with massive wings and great blades.

The description for the figurine makes it even markedly more impressive:

Of course, people are going to need to be patient if they want this piece of action figure greatness. The figure is set for release on December 19, which is perfect for the Christmas season, but far too long a wait for avid collectors of Blizzard merchandise.
