Just a week after the in-game pets for World of Warcraft were announced, one of the two variations has apparently been sold out, just goes to show how WoW-crazy some people get. The Pandaren Monk, listed for US$ 10 on the Blizzard pet store, has now been "sold out" in the United States. |

The Make-A-Wish foundation helped Ezra's dreams come true. This child stricken with brain cancer had a simple dream that most of us are already living: to play World of Warcraft. Blizzard made his dream come true by providing him with a level 70 character and the best equips in the game. The kicker though is what they did in addition to this: they made him part of their development team for an entire day. The gaming community has been very supportive of this move. The gamers have given out very heartwarming statements such as "Kudos Kid, I hope you get better. You'll win this battle for sure." Also, players would often bow or cheer whenever they came across his level 70 Tauren Hunter. The father of Ezra, Micah Chatterton, was very pleased at the support his son is getting saying that "I do believe (the Blizzard visit) impacted the situation. It impacted his health and happiness. As many people as we can get behind him, we are so grateful for that." Ezra's father was not the only one who was touched by this very generous move by Blizzard. People around the world have been affected by this. The impact of this event is so great that even a Grandmother of 67 years of age picked up the game to play with her kids. For the first time in her life, she played a video game. If you want to read more on this, be sure to click on our read link. We never got a chance to send our support to Ezra since he's on the European server, so we'll just say it here: We're behind you all the way Ezra! |

Many of us probably dream of being able to make our own quests for World of Warcraft. For others, the dream is to become a powerful character within the game to earn the admiration of your peers. For even more people, the dream is to go into the furthest depths of the game, seeing everything the game has to offer. Well, for one young gamer, the Make-A-Wish Foundation made it all come true. Ezra Chatterton, you see, has a brain tumor. For him, however, all he wanted to do while in the hospital was play WoW. The Make a Wish Foundation managed to help him out, and Blizzard made him part of their development team for one whole day. What did he get to do? Besides getting his character bumped up to level 70 and stocked with the best armor and weapons in the game, he sat beside Jeff Kaplan and created a new weapon (a legendary flame-firing crossbow!) and a new quest line. He also immortalized his dog Kyle in the quest line he designed. Being turned into a temporary GM who can fly and death touch Black Temple bosses like Supremus was also a big plus. Of course, his dream is to come back some day and work for Blizzard as a developer and play tester. As tiring as the day was for him, it filled him up with hope, and that's a BOP item that everyone deserves to have in their inventory. Hopefully, he'll be able to come back and fulfill his new dream as well. |
