World of Warcraft PTR - Supremus loot - Image 1 Last time on the World of Warcraft's Public Test Realm (PTR), a GM death touched High Warlord Naj'entus during a Risen guild raid. Now, another Blizzard GM insta-killed two more Black Temple bosses so more content could be tested.

During a Death & Taxes guild run, a GM downed the first three bosses - the naga High Warlord Naj'entus, the giant infernal Supremus, and mutated fel orc Gurtogg Bloodboil.

Supremus' loot (click the image on the right for a clearer view) includes healer/caster armor Naturalists' Preserving Cinch, healer/caster shield Felstone Bulwark, and blacksmithing plans for Swiftsteel Shoulders. Unfortunately, the guild wasn't able to tag Gurtogg Bloodboil before he died and so the loot would have to be previewed for another day.

That's it for now, maybe in a few days we'll be able to see what the rest of the Black Temple bosses give for loot. There's still Akama, Teron Gorefiend, the Essence of Souls, Mother Shahraz, the Illidari Council, and of course, Illidan Stormrage. Stay tuned for more World of Warcraft news and updates.

Ashbringer!

They've done it again. You either have to curse Risen's luck or praise the fact that they've gotten so far in the game to have one drop.

A little over a week ago, the Risen guild's leader Failure was the first person to ever have a fully formed Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian in his hands. It was a world first for WoW from one of the most progressive guilds in the game. This week, the intrepid band of adventurers hit another world first, picking up the very first drop of the Corrupted Ashbringer, the greatsword of Highlord Mograine who was the former leader of the Scarlet Crusade.
Ashbringer Stats
This sword is not only an important piece of Warcraft lore, but is directly connected to the expansion. Equipping the sword will allow you to walk into Scarlet Monastery and interact with the soldiers there, and talking to Inquisitor Fairbanks in the back room of the Monastery will give you new information as to one of Mograine's sons, who lives in Outland and can apparently cleanse the Corrupted Ashrbinger and return the sword to its former glory.

Once again, congratulations are in order for the Risen guild for the sweet loot and their warrior class leader Axel who is now the first ever to own this epic sword.

Over at the Alleria server in World of Warcraft, the Risen guild has pulled off a world first. After a lot of work, their guild leader Failure has finished creating the legendary caster weapon, Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian. Who'd they have to beat to get it?

To create Atiesh, they had to go through some of the toughest endbosses in the game. Taking down C'thun in AQ40 as well as Kel'Thuzad from Naxxramas to acquire two of the three items needed to create the staff, they had to return to Stratholme to summon and defeat the weapon's namesake: Atiesh himself.

Only upon defeating him could they cleanse the corrupted staff and acquire the legendary weapon. Congratulations to Failure (how weird does that sound?) on being the first to carry the priest version of Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian!
