World of Warcraft: PLAYER_DEAD event confusion in Patch 2.4 - Image 1Now that Patch 2.4 has been released for World of Warcraft, changes have been implemented here and there. Shurp from the Aman'Thul realm noticed that PLAYER_DEAD event is no longer working somehow it's been changed to UNIT_DIED event.

Upcoming World of Warcraft 2.4 patch, revamping interface and combat logs - Image 1People have been wanting information regarding the upcoming 2.4 patch for Blizzard's World of Warcraft for a while now. WoW forums: Auctioneer causing game to crash - Image 1As Wdude initially reports over at the World of Warcraft forums, the Auctioneer add-on has apparently been experiencing a bug wherein it forces his (Wdude) game to crash abruptly. Blizzard warns World of Warcraft players against new keylogger - Image 1An MMORPG as big as World of Warcraft is highly susceptible to attacks from keyloggers. Blizzard, on the other hand, is very aware of this possibility and has reminded players time and again to protect themselves.

Blizzard's World of Warcraft - Image 1A sort-of-bug has been found by Kameril with the SetFormattedText command in World of Warcraft. Kameril observed that the command has inconsistencies in rounding.

Blizzard Poster Slouken gave a quick reply saying that the problem has been fixed in 2.3.2.

World of Warcraft: list of currently known UI API changes for 2.4 - Image 1Information on World of Warcraft, circa Patch 2.4, is rather scarce, but that doesn't stop people from preparing for it. Blizzard MVP Iriel and CM Slouken are helping folks prepare for the deluge of information that will eventually be made known for 2.4 by making a list of upcoming 2.4 changes to the User Interface and amending the posts as they happen.
