World of Warcraft PTR patch 2.2.2 notes - Image 1Community Manager Nethaera has announced that the PTR Patch 2.2.2 notes for Blizzard's World of Warcraft have already been released. She also thoughtfully included a short summary of it, just in case you don't feel like going over the entire thing.

She first gave word that Brewfest has already begun, so players can enjoy the various activities, quests, and rewards that partaking in this event will grant them.

Aside from that, Nethaera also gave a few details about Hallow's End, which is a celebration of the Forsaken breaking away from the Scourge. Taking part in this event will allow players to wear mask during their adventures and even get a chance to face-off against the headless horseman.

Here are some of the changes that have been done to the World Environment:
  • Added a new graveyard to the Southern Barrens.
  • Added a new graveyard to the Western Plaguelands.
  • Added a new graveyard to the Alterac Mountains.
  • Added a new graveyard to the Searing Gorge.
  • Added a new graveyard to the Badlands.
  • Added two new graveyards to Tanaris.
  • Added two new graveyards to Winterspring.
  • Added two new graveyards to Stonetalon.
  • Added two new graveyards to Un'Goro.
The patch is looking really sweet, and we're pretty sure that a lot of players can't wait until it becomes fully implemented. If you want to know more about the patch, click on our Read Link to see the full notes.

Creepy crypt...wait, is that Conan? - Image 1

WoW Insider has had avid players of World of Warcraft submit special places that they happen to stumble upon in or around Azeroth for some time now. This time around, they have received a screenshot of a mysterious tomb lying in the Badlands, up on a hill southeast of Hammertoe's dig site. It's not one of those exploits and looks like a polished up version, so we're wondering: who does it belong to?

This tomb has a throne occupied by a rather heavily-armored skeleton with an odd looking sword at its side. Some players have come to think it depicts a fairly odd resemblance to Conan, although we can't be too sure. The Greek vases (you can tell by the Hoplites stained on their sides) puts the mystery even deeper.

Some players have also found this same site, yet refuse to enter without company! The eerie atmosphere and mystery behind the crypt add to the crypt's foreboding appearance. So WoW players, you might want to check this out. And if you do, take a friend with you and tell us all about it.

We'll be waiting for you...
