Checking World of Raids, we find ourselves struck by the awesomeness of this new find. Fanatik has hosted a preview movie of what the Tier 6 armor sets will look like, and if you know Blizzard, then you can be sure that they'll all be looking pretty darned good.
Gronnstalker, Skyshatter, Onslaught. Those and many more are the names of the upcoming Tier 6 armor. Of course, the preferential option for coolness goes straight to the Warlock because, if you'll check out the video below, he has DEVIL WINGS! That is one heck of a highlight to get just for putting on your headgear. In any case, don't let us stop you from this new World of Warcraft video. Just remember to watch it at the end. There's a surprise guest appearance by everyone's favorite demonic Night Elf buddy. Enjoy! |

We love machinima. Those in game movies span in variety (just like Hollywood, we note) from socially conscious to movie and television series spoofs. Just goes to show just how many things you can do in the World of Warcraft - other than end game that is. Today, we've got the trailer of Azerothian Espionage by Cameron Gadsby and edited by Ciavarella Studios.
Azerothian Espionage looks like an epic movie, but will this be comparable to Fanatik's work? We'll see that when the actual movie comes out. According to fubarius2 (of YouTube, who also did an amazing job with "It's All Coming Back to Me Now"), the movie will be posted in "several days" and will run approximately 16 minutes. We'll keep our eyes peeled for that and for the meantime, you can watch the trailer for Azerothian Espionage. Stay tuned for more World of Warcraft movies. |

Gaming has created its own culture. We have various online communities, we've created our own language via gaming slang (p'wned!), and we've even made our very own cast of gaming personalities and icons. World of Warcraft, with a population of over seven millions players making it almost as populated as some cities, is perhaps the the best testament to this. Still don't believe it? Read on.
What we have here is an extension of the gaming culture. Best gauge for culture? Art. Human societies have paintings, we have fan-made wallpapers. Music? We have gamers mixing their own tune matching the gaming groove. Film? Well, we have this. Fanatik is almost a legend in Azeroth. Not only 'cause he's a good player, but because he has learned how to infuse his passion for making films to the game he loves most. Yes, he's making a movie for WoW, and it's currently under the working title "Exploration the Escapade". Setting's in Azeroth, cast are all WoW characters (his own piece is the lead actor of course), and the plot is oh so Warcrafty. The vid below shows a seven-minute preview of his flick, and features "a glimpse of the never before seen Black Temple, The Battle of Mount Hyjal, as well as random additions to the development zones." Fanatik says he's doing this not for fame, but judging how the gaming culture embraces icons, he may very well be on his way towards celebrity status. Now all we need is an Orc jumping up and down a Mage's couch... |
