A new update has been released for World of Warcraft's Public Test Realms. Early observations of this new build for the PTR's patch 2.4 indicate that spell mechanics for some of the job classes have been implemented, aside from the introduction of some new gear. Details are in the full article.

Imagine a mage and warlock going head to head in Blizzard's World of Warcraft. After a couple of minutes of blasting at each other, both of them have run out of Mana. After a couple of seconds of ineffectively whacking at each other with wands and staves, the Warlock casts Life Tap, gains a nice mana boost, and proceeds to Shadowbolt the mage into tiny little chunks. With all the changes that are going to be ushered in by the 2.4 patch in Blizzard's World of Warcraft, there's one player who doesn't like one particular modification. Chfsitingbul from the Draenor realm was distraught about the how the Elemental Shaman's crit was nerfed.

It looks like Blizzard has finally delivered on its promise to release the first set of progressive changes to the latest 2.4 Public Test Realm in World of Warcraft. The extensive list from the new 0.4.0.7923 patch update crams in a lot of the changes players have suggested since the release of the previous patch for the game. There seems to be a call going around for World of Warcraft screenshots these days, and Blizzard isn't the only one in need of them.

Mages in Blizzard's World of Warcraft have asked for more variety with the Polymorph skill. Apparently, turning their foes into sheep, pigs, or even turtles isn't humiliating enough. Community Manager Nethaera commented on this movement in the WoW Forums.

Apparently, it's not just the warlock's Seed of Corruption spell that's having issues in World of Warcraft's test realms. Player Ekomstop reports over at the WoW forums that the pre-made Mage's rank 14 frostbolt and fireball spells appear to be bugged as well. Details over this matter are available in the full article.
