The path to enlightenment is never easy. The path to enlightenment with ogres? Even moreso. To that end, Blizzard has come up with a basic guide for players hoping to become exalted with the enlightened ogres of Ogri'la.Blizzard's guide provides a basic overview of the different things needed to acquire reputation with the Ogri'la faction, from who to talk to in order to begin your rise in reputation among the Ogri'la (look for Grok in the Shattrath's lower city!), to the types of repeatable quests needed to gain reputation with the ogres. One thing that's fairly different between Ogri'la quests and quests for the other factions is that you'll need to be in a group a lot, so make good use of the LFG channel or grab some guildies to help you out. Other than that, make sure you keep a fair stock of Apexis shards and crystals, as they serve as currency for the Ogri'la faction. That being said, don't hesitate to check out the readlink for additional faction tips, and good luck gaining favor with the ogres! |

According to Blizzard, one of the things to watch out for in World of Warcraft (WoW) is Skettis. Being the hidden capital of Arakkoa, it is actually one of the uber secrets of Terokkar Forest. The place can only be accessed by players who have flying mounts or Druids who have mastered the Flight Form. Now in Skettis, you can get a new type of flying mount by doing a reputation grind. However, Blizzard put a cap to the number of times the quest can be performed repeatedly in a day. After reaching reputation 2.1 and killing 25 ogres, the MMORPG just won't let you perform the quest any more. Blizzard's Drysc explained that this new mechanic is for the benefit of casual players. The moderator mentioned that if Blizzard really wanted to limit the number of ogres that can be killed in a day, they should have just lessened the amount of kills required to guarantee that the investment length is standardized. Drysc continued: With an artificial block in place we can moderate the pace of the content, and provide better rewards for less actual time played. That means players with less time don't have to deal with a faction that had to be inflated in length just so those with more time wouldn't blow through the content within a inconsequential amount of time. However, the more hardcore players reasoned that they actually paid for WoW so they are entitled to do whatever the heck they want to do every time they log in. What about you, what's your take on this? |

Lookie Lookie, we got new gameplay video for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade! The video runs for 4:18 minutes and it features some interesting elements in the "Outland". Outland, or Draenor as it was called before, is one of the fictional zones in the Warcraft universe where Orcs, Ogres and Draenei calls "home". It has several locales, namely Hellfire Peninsula, Zangarmarsh, Nagrand, Terokkar Forest, Shadowmoon Valley, Blade's Edge Mountains and Netherstorm. One of the more interesting elements in the World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade are the mounts. Flying mounts are one of the much anticipated form of transportation since it allows players to travel either by ground or by air, taking you places in Outland at epic mount speed. Featured here in the video is the Gryphon Alliance, but the most sought-after are the rare flying mounts like the Nether Drake. Well, to tell you guys, you can get an offspring of the Nether Drake, the Netherwhelp, in WoW: The Burning Crusade's Collector's Edition. Check out the video clip of the Outland adventure: Download: [WoW:The Burning Crusade Outland adventure] |

The very latest additions to the WoW Bestiary are the Fungal Giants and the Ogre Lords. Fungal Giants are not mushrooms as you might expect, but like their mycological relatives, have been nurtured by the rich soil of Zangarmarsh. Despite their startling and terrifying appearance, these huge wetland beasts are relatively non-aggressive. When threatened, however, they can be merciless killers. They feed on other native swamp creatures, as well as any Lost Ones who - through accident or design - trespass on their hideaways. Check out the WoW Website for more on the strange and fearsome inhabitants of Azeroth. |
