Our granny used to say you can be lying face down, ass in the air in a mucky ditch, drunk as an Irish, and you will still find love if you want to. Okay, first we'd like to apologize for the Irish reference. Granny was from a different era. What she meant was true love is really everywhere. Even on a game called World of Warcraft which sounds like a place to make war not love.

But for Rhovan the hunter and Delora the druid, WoW was Cupid's arrow waiting to pierce their hearts like two slivers of still bloody meat on a barbecue stick. What started as a chance meeting in a World of Warcraft guild meeting ended as a prison term for both with no chance for parole. By that we mean the two are now forever locked in each others' arms.

The two online characters grew so fond of each other they went on get to know each other beyond the role-play. They started dating. Good thing for Rhovan, Delora didn't turn out to be a dude who looks like a lady. Fortunately for her Rhovan didn't turn out to be some basement dwelling perv. And then Delora and Rhovan discovered that they were in love.

Married in in May of 2006 the two now have a beautiful daughter together. The couple don't do much WoW-ing these days. After all they are probably too pooped from lack of sleep due to the new baby. But we sure envy them. They found in World of Warcraft what we have been desperately seeking for down in the ditches.
