Information about Tier 6 set names and set bonuses in the World of Warcraft have been subject to speculation - well, the set bonuses more than the names at least as WoWWiki already has them. MMO-Champion's Boubouille has released a list of Tier 6 set names and bonuses.

Patch 2.0.10 finally goes live. It came together with the World of Warcraft's scheduled maintenance and is now available for download (if you didn't get the forced update.) Anyway, we've come to anticipate continuation of the great wailing and gnashing of teeth before the patch. It looks like the Druids and the Mages are the hardest hit, or at least the noisiest. Druids got a hotfix earlier today though that might alleviate the pain a bit. Here's the list of the changes: General

Lurking around the WoW Forums, we found this little thread that contained a puzzled Aussie wondering how much data World of Warcraft downloads. His curiosity was spurred from the fact that he was going to a university that had a strict bandwidth limit of 500 MB/sec. Despite going there for some serious study, he didn't want to give up WoW. So, what is WoW's bandwidth consumption?Curious little question, isn't it? Being the largest, billion-dollar MMORPG to date, you'd think that your sub par Internet connection won't be able to swallow much data from the World of Warcraft servers. We could actually bore you with the techno-babble that is associated with network technologies, but then we'd lose you right after the first word of the first sentence. Sedge of Bonechewer, a level 70 Tauren Druid, claimed that his current download rate as he plays is 0.5 KB/sec. But he believes it could be several folds higher once he hits the heavily populated areas. 0.5 KB/sec...carry a one there...that's 1.75 MB/hour. From the 500 MB/month limit, you've got about...say, 285 hours, give or take a couple of hours. If you divide that further in days, you've got about 9 and a half hours of gameplay each day at that rate. Searching around the Net a little bit more, we found that you could average about 30 KB/sec usually. You could hook 60 KB/sec during really huge raids, Arena bouts, and really wicked aggro's. There are also reports of huge bandwidth eating when you enter zones, since your client downloads a wad of data in preparation for your (triumphant?) return. You can monitor your computer's bandwidth usage through the many available bandwidth monitors on the Web., like DU Meter. Got something you'd like to share? Please do. Oh, and sure, be as geeky as you like. |

I had nothing better to do so I took a virtual stroll down to the World of Warcraft vault over at IGN. It turns out that there's a glitch concerning the recipe for the Major Dreamless Sleep Potion. Here's what Blizzard had to say about it:Currently, this recipe is not accessible in the game. We are working on a solution to have this available as soon as possible. We'll let you know more specifically when this should be available after we apply a fix. Ah, short and sweet. Not all that informative, but hey, it's good to know that they've identified the problem and are working to solve it. Since we still have some space left over, let's talk a bit about the potion in question. The Major Dreamless Sleep Potion - a lvl 70 item that is made from one Dreaming Glory, one Nightmare Vine, and an Imbued Vial - is a potion that "puts the imbiber in a dreamless sleep for 12 sec. During that time the imbiber heals 3600 health and 3600 mana." Kinda like a really good sleeping pill. If all the stuff from WoW could be ported over to the real world, I'd be buying truckloads of this potion for myself. |

The Rogue class question: Does Remorseless Attacks affect Hemorrhage? Remorseless Attack is a Rogue talent with this description: After killing an opponent that yields experience, gives you a 20-40% increased critical strike chance on your next Sinister Strike, Backstab, Ambush, or Ghostly Strike. Lasts 20 sec.In-game, the description of Remorseless Attacks (RA) include Hemorrhage but some players have observed that it doesn't have the RA critical effect. This is much like the Mage class Frostbolt question but this time, Tseric has provided definite answer. According to him, RA SHOULD affect Hemorrhage (the tooltip is correct) and they are fully aware that there is a active bug in that particular talent. They are trying to fix the bug so Rogues can get their crit hopefully within the next patch. |

The Burning Crusades may now be up in Blizzard's WoW, but as with all Beta tests,
expect some heavy tweaking and fixes before this game really takes off.
With this in mind, we're letting you guys know that they've updated the
spells and talents section for Burning Crusade, specifically another
round of updates for the Warlock and Priest classes. Some of the more interesting additions are the racial priest skills for the the Blood Elves and the Draenei, the new races we'll be seeing in Burning Crusade: -Draenei Fear Ward Requires Level 20 100 Mana 30 yd range Instant cast 30 sec cooldown Race: Draenei Wards the friendly target against Fear. The next Fear effect used against the target will fail, using up the ward. Lasts 10 min. -Blood Elf Consume Magic Requires Level 20 Instant cast 2 min cooldown Race: Blood Elf Dispels one beneficial Magic effect from the caster and gives them 120 to 154 mana. (453 to 488 mana at level 70) Behold the Warlock updates after this jump! |

We just made these interesting discoveries as we were sifting through some of the new spells for the Priest and Warlock class over at the WoW main site's Burning Crusade section. These spells are covered in the talents tree, but it seems that these descriptions are not covered by the talent calculator. Now for the specific spells: Priest: Pain Suppression: Now set at 30-yard range Circle of Healing: Now with 3-minute cooldown. Vampiric Touch: Instant cast capable. Now, as for the Warlock section's Felguard abilities:

With the WoW expansion, Burning Crusade, coming up, more and more information is being leaked out for the expectant masses to lap up; and the latest bits of revelations include new racial abilities for priests. As we all know, priests are a strange lot and their race affects their abilities, so with the introduction of two new races into Azeroth, one can't help but wonder what new tricks the Draenei and the Blood Elf priests would be able to pull out of their robes.Teza from the World of Raids forums shares the following tidbits: Blood Elf: Consume Magic Instant 2 min cooldown Dispels one beneficial Magic effect from the caster and gives them 62 to 78 mana. Draenei: Symbol of Hope 15 Mana 40 yd range Instant cast 2 min cooldown Greatly increases the morale of party members, giving them 99 mana over 15 sec. The use of the Draenei's abilities is definitely going to be more than welcome in any instance, while the use of the Blood Elf's ability may be a little less obvious. For one thing, some have pointed out that Consume Magic can be used for removing a buff that you won't need as much, for those cases when you need to zap something fast and you're out of mana, and you don't want to go through your stash of blues either. Nifty, huh? |

Being the first expansion pack for the world's largest MMORPG, it can't
be helped that rumors, tons of rumors, will be thrown its way. Just last week, rumors of class details for the Druid and the Priest leaked out. However, since they were just in text file format, we can't actually help but be skeptical, as we should be of rumors. However, now you can cross out the Priest off your rumors list because the official World of Warcraft site has just released the talents and spells for this class. Let's go over the spells first. Rumormongers only got two hits in all of the categories. Discipline Mass Dispel - Rank 1 Requires Level 70 1181 Mana 30 yd range 1.5 sec cast Dispels magic in a 15 yard radius, removing 1 harmful spell from each friendly target and 1 beneficial spell from each enemy target. Affects a maximum of 5 friendly targets and 5 enemy targets. This dispel is potent enough to remove Magic effects that are normally undispellable. The full details await after the jump! |

Rumor has it that a possible expansion for the Rogue talent trees is well on its way for World of Warcraft. A photograph has surfaced on the web containing three rogue trees and the tooltips for new talents. We have yet to hear any formal announcements about these new rogue trees, but we're pretty sure that a lot of gamers have their fingers crossed for it to be confirmed any time soon. That Quick Recovery sure looks useful. Assassination: Tier 4
