A new user interface bug running around the World of Warcraft community has been pestering players as of late. Players who move their characters into a new zone tend to find their combat log messages going through a massive loop of annoying proportions. Blizzard recently revealed their "concise list" of changes on the UI of World of Warcraft. There were some great changes there but the list isn't complete yet; they may be adding more in the future. They recently released two more changes to the UI, check them out in the full article.

It's easy to get overwhelmed with the number of changes that will be making its way to the latest patch 2.4 of Blizzard's World of Warcraft. Fortunately, green poster Iriel was able to compile all the changes discussed about the game's UI features and put a thread up on the WoW forums discussing the upcoming changes. People have been wanting information regarding the upcoming 2.4 patch for Blizzard's World of Warcraft for a while now. Blizzard rep Slouken was able to post some changes that will be taking effect when the latest patch comes out, primarily for the in-game interface and combat logging mechanism.

Expect to see a notable new face posting regularly from now on Blizzard's official World of Warcraft forums: That new face is Zootfizzle, the newest member of Blizzard's World of Warcraft user interface (UI) team. Zootfizzle's introduction, however, gave rise to some conjecture that Slouken would be leaving the Blizzard UI team.

As Wdude initially reports over at the World of Warcraft forums, the Auctioneer add-on has apparently been experiencing a bug wherein it forces his (Wdude) game to crash abruptly. Blue-texter Slouken has already picked up on the thread with a possible fix. Further details are available in the full article.

An MMORPG as big as World of Warcraft is highly susceptible to attacks from keyloggers. Blizzard, on the other hand, is very aware of this possibility and has reminded players time and again to protect themselves.

Blizzard forum moderator Slouken posted an article over at the official World of Warcraft Forums informing everyone to beware AddOn packages in the meanwhile because some have been maliciously modified. More on this after the jump!

A sort-of-bug has been found by Kameril with the SetFormattedText command in World of Warcraft. Kameril observed that the command has inconsistencies in rounding.

Blizzard Poster Slouken gave a quick reply saying that the problem has been fixed in 2.3.2.

Information on World of Warcraft, circa Patch 2.4, is rather scarce, but that doesn't stop people from preparing for it. Blizzard MVP Iriel and CM Slouken are helping folks prepare for the deluge of information that will eventually be made known for 2.4 by making a list of upcoming 2.4 changes to the User Interface and amending the posts as they happen.
