The World of Warcraft logo - Image 1Ever wanted to have your say in Blizzard's World of Warcraft? Schwick invites players to visit his weekly Community's review thread over at the official WoW Europe forums to discuss aspects of the game they feel strongly about, such as Enchanting or Jewelcrafting (which were last week's topics, by the way). Going into details for this week's topic trio:
As many of you may notice, all three are favorite hunting grounds within the Outlands region - one of the many additions seen in WoW's Burning Crusade expansion pack. As expected, most of the players visiting this forums have mid-60 to 70 characters, and comments were kept very constructive, with none of the strangeness we've been seeing in not-so-serious threads. Quoting Kaigami's review as a sample:

Auchindoun
Interesting instance. The interior can get stale and shadow labyrinth has MASSES of trash which is totally unnecessary but i really dont mind it. Overall its a fairly good instance group and the fights are fairly varied.

Just less trash in shadow lab please.

Hellfire Citadel
A very nice set of instances with a good balance. Decent sizes and really reminiscent of BRS. Only suggestions would be nerfing the gladiators in Shattered Halls but thats about it.

Blade's Edge Mountain
What can i say? The only reason i really replied to this thread. the least fun levelling zone, BY FAR. Its harsh on the eyes, its hard to get around without a flying mount...and theres SO MANY DAMN OGRE KILLING QUESTS. I swear if i ever have to kill 30 more ogres of any type again I'm going to cry. The quests in Blades Edge are secret Nesingwary quests. Even though it has some shiny text to cover it...they really all just mean "Kill 50 of this type of ogre". The quests in this area could really do with some looking at, Along with the ease of movement for a non level 70.

Feel free to comment on the discussions, as Warcraft Weekly established this side project exactly for this purpose - as an active way players can seriously voice out their opinions on game-related topics.

World of Warcraft Forums - Image 1As a side project of Warcraft Weekly, the active forum trolls members now can get to review features and aspects of the game as requested by Blizzard. And for hot gossip and topics, members can also focus on nominating their favorite threads for the Forum Watch section, whether it be about love, poking jokes or fortune telling.

These reviews will be compiled weekly (on Tuesdays), in a Community Events and News forum thread that sports links to all of the latest and hot developments in World of Warcraft. The current topics nominated for this week are Engineering, Tailoring, the Dungeon set 3, Tier 4 and Tier  5.

The ideas for certain issues can also be voiced out in appropriate threads, and then can be nominated for Forum Watch. Once acknowledged, players can rest easy knowing that the issue actually reached official hands.

As Schwick, the organizer for the side project, explains:

Each week I plan on doing a community review. Each week a sub part of World of Warcraft will pass its review. Your job, if you chose to accept it, will be to review the subject and keep it constructive. Feel free to use examples, positive and/or negative things about the subject, ideas how to improve it, things that happened to you etc. As long if it’s constructive.

Constructive posts are something Blizzard can use. Not to mention it’s always good to think about the future about certain things. Who knows, you may have effect on the changes in the future.

So what are you waiting for? If you want to voice out your opinions on these topics, click on the "Read" link below to participate. Remember: members only!
